Each year, Kupu offers hundreds of internship opportunities that create positive environmental, cultural and community impact across Hawaiʻi and the Pacific region. Individuals looking to explore training, experience and skills in the growing green jobs sector can apply one of the various programs. Kupu offers various individual-based and team-based opportunities, ranging from short term positions to year long positions, where individuals work alongside and receive valuable mentorship from experts in an environmental related field.
The individual internship opportunities were created for participants to gain in-depth professional development experience in the various green economy sectors. Participants are placed with a single organization, usually for up to a year, which allows them to delve deeper into their assigned projects. These programs are ideal for college students and young professionals who have previous work experience, study or strong interests in natural or cultural resource management, sustainability and/or environmental education.
HOK is always looking for interested individuals to help us with our programs and projects, offering a wide range of opportunities for paid and unpaid internships. If you are interested and feel as if you can contribute to our mission, contact us or check our Internships page for more information!
