We invite you to share the vision of…

  • Clean water for Ko'olaupoko’s streams and bays
  • Continued ocean health and recreation
  • Protection of our coral reef and ocean resources from polluted runoff

Did you know that throughout the Ko'olaupoko area (Makapu'u to Kualoa) in Windward O'ahu, land-based pollution is a leading threat to stream and ocean health? Many streams and beaches do not meet state and federal standards for healthy water bodies. Because of the impact pollution has on these significant natural resources, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) identified the Ko'olaupoko area as a priority watershed for monitoring, education, restoration and protection. Hui o Ko'olaupoko actively works in all of these areas to improve watershed health.

Hui o Ko'olaupoko needs your help to protect and restore the threatened streams and bays of Waimanalo, Kailua and Kaneohe. Whether you paddle, fish, surf, hike, swim, live or vacation near these natural wonders, you can make a difference through participating as a member of Hui o Ko'olaupoko.

We’re asking you to make a tax-deductible contribution of $100, $50, $25 – or whatever you can afford – to help stop these threats and protect our natural resources.
